The VIV team will continue to take strict health and sanitization measures to protect all our guests and staff during their presence at Kuwait International Airport and through the VIV. We request your full support and cooperation with the following safety measures required.

DEPARTURE FROM KUWAIT:

Kindly be aware that the rules and regulations for departure may change depending on the time of your departure from Kuwait International Airport.

VIV TERMINAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.

It is mandatory to wear a mask and gloves, please enter while wearing them.
Non-travellers may not be allowed to accompany travellers into the VIV. If special assistance is needed, please let us know as
exceptions can be made.
Temperature check will be taken upon entry to the VIV.
Social distance of 2 meters should always be followed.
Avoid shaking hands, touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
Hand sanitizers are available throughout the VIV terminal and in every suite.

DURING CHECK-IN

Make sure to obtain all travel and health documentation & certificates needed issued by medical laboratories and approved by the Ministry of Health for your travel. If you are unsure about the requirements, please contact the embassy of your final destination to confirm what documents are required before traveling.
Your VIV personal agent will take care of all your personal travel needs at the airport during departure to ensure you have limited interaction with others.

ARRIVAL TO KUWAIT:

Kindly be aware that the rules and regulations for arrival may change depending on the time of your arrival to Kuwait International Airport.

Make sure to obtain all travel and health documentation & certificates needed to enter Kuwait International Airport according to the latest regulations.
Download and register on the Shlonik application before arrival to Kuwait International Airport.
Sign the commitment to comply with the Ministry of Health instructions with the respect to either home or institutional quarantine if applicable at the time of your arrival.
Temperature of all guests will be taken before boarding the aircraft and upon arrival to Kuwait International Airport.
Upon arrival, a PCR test may be conducted.
It is mandatory to wear a mask and gloves, and regularly use hand sanitizers.
Your VIV personal agent will take care of all your personal travel needs at Kuwait International Airport during your arrival to ensure you have limited interaction with others.

VIV SUITES

The VIV suites will be disinfected before and after each group of guests.
The suites will be booked privately for each group and the total number of guests at the VIV will be limited.
For your safety and the safety of our staff, we will only be serving a small selection of drinks at this time.

IMMIGRATION, CUSTOMS, SECURITY SCREENING & BOARDING PROCESS

Travel documents (passport, civil id, boarding pass & health forms) must be carried by the passenger.
Immigration, Customs & Security procedures will take place at the private VIV Immigration area and limited to 1 guest at a time.
If you are travelling with children, 1 adult companion per child will be allowed. Exceptions can be made depending on the case.
Only 2 guests are allowed inside the VIV car at the same time. Exceptions will be made if children are traveling.
The Immigration, Security screening area & VIV cars will be disinfected between all groups.
In some cases, guests may be required to be transferred by a car and re-enter the Kuwait International Airport through a boarding gate to access their aircraft. In this case, the VIV Personal Agent will accompany the guest to ensure minimum contact with other passengers through the boarding process.
